"We can't thank Carol enough for the beautiful service she performed for us. She is a kind and thoughtful lifecycle celebrant. She was very attentive to our needs leading up to the day of the ceremony and really took her time to make sure that our day was special. Communication with her was a breeze and she made us feel very comfortable opening up to her so that she could share our love story with our friends and family."

"Carol is professional and excellent. My husband passed away traumatically, and it was very difficult for our family. Carol made the process easy and brought a bright light to the whole situation. So many people who attended the Memorial Service were amazed at how meaningful and beautiful the service was. Carol is gifted at writing, speaking, and presenting a unique and special service. I highly recommend her service—you will not be disappointed. " Julie
"When my husband and I recently got married, we knew we wanted a very unique and meaningful ceremony, and turned to Carol to be our guiding light. Her warmth and enthusiasm was evident from the first Zoom meeting, and we hit it off right away. My partner and I took great care to complete the questionnaire she provided and then review the rough draft, which made it feel collaborative. How she managed to include so many stories and tidbits about our relationship journey into such a reasonable timeframe, I have no clue, but she is a storytelling magician. She made wonderful suggestions and expertly wove in each element that was important to us. The ceremony ended up being sweet and funny, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. A unique feature of Carol's style we greatly appreciated is that she stands off to the side for much of the ceremony. It kept the spotlight on us, and allowed for the option to alternate between facing our loved ones and focusing only on each other. During moments that required more guiding, like the ring exchange, she posted herself in the tradition position behind us. The flow of the ceremony was as natural as the breeze blowing through the trees, and it was filled with meaning and love. Carol made the day so seamless, all our overwhelm faded away, and it was the most memorable day. We can’t imagine having anyone else create and navigate our ceremony for us."

"We were so happy to find Carol to be our officiant! She did an amazing job incorporating our love story, giving us ideas of different things we could do in the ceremony to make it special, and most importantly just capturing us as a couple. She was a pleasure to work with, and we can't wait to work with her again once we welcome a second dog to our family!"

I "I found Carol via a quick search on Facebook. I reached out and we scheduled a time to meet via Zoom. I had already spoken with a handful of officiants, but knew from our first conversation that Carol would be the perfect choice to perform our intimate garden ceremony. Carol is a bright, caring, light and expertly led us through creating a perfect ceremony for our wedding. She was able to capture our relationship so beautifully and was a joy to work with as she incorporated special moments into the ceremony. Things we wouldn't have even dreamt of, and helped our guests feel deeply connected and involved on the day. We received so many compliments from our guests about the service. Even though we had a small wedding we wanted to ensure it still felt special, intimate, and impactful. And Carol went above and beyond in helping us create that vision.

"Carol was absolutely perfect and everything we could've wanted for our wedding ceremony. She listened to what type of ceremony we wanted and catered it to our needs. I would highly recommend Carol to anyone looking for a fresh take on a ceremony." Ashley
"We needed a celebrant for my son’s blessing and Carol was the perfect fit. We introduced ourselves via Zoom and clicked immediately. She is down to earth, easy to talk to and very kind. She crafted the most beautiful ceremony, including our son’s guide-parents, and even helped us finish decorating when we were running behind! Carol brought a lot of great ideas to the table that we incorporated into what we already had in our hearts. Payment arrangements were easy too— Half is needed to hold the date, the second half is due on the date of the event. 10/10 highly recommended if you need a life celebrant for your big milestone! Thank you, Carol!!" Teresa
"I reached out to Carol to assist with planning a celebration of life for my aunt who had passed away after a short illness. I was impressed with her from the moment we started to talk. Carol asked numerous questions of me and other family members to get to know my aunt and be able to provide our family a ceremony that was personal and uplifting for all of us. Although these events can be sad, Carol created an atmosphere of support and love which emanated from the readings, to the music and to the family participation at the event. It was exactly what my aunt would have wanted. I can't thank her enough for making a difficult day one that left us all with beautiful memories and happy recollections of my aunt."

"When my mother passed away in November 2019, I knew there could be no one better to handle the commemoration and celebration of my mom’s life than Carol. The ‘interview process’ was handled with great empathy and she provided a completely safe space for me to tease out all kinds of recollections of my mother (sometimes humorous, sometimes painful). She was organized and paid great attention to detail. I was amazed at the wonderful ‘Story of Mom’ that she was able to weave together as a result of our meeting!
As well, the tone that Carol worked hard to set for the occasion was perfect. It was just as my mom would have wanted. A small, intimate affair…music that she loved to listen and dance to….a lusty menu of her favorite food and drink….and, topping it off, the beautiful and thoughtful readings that Carol and others provided. It was a wonderfully spirited - and spiritual -celebration of my mom’s full and adventurous life… I would highly recommend Carol Ludwick to anyone that wants to hold a unique and loving celebration of any kind. She brings a very wide set of skills to her work as a celebrant….and, can help facilitate just the right occasion that fits with each individual's vision."

"I thoroughly enjoyed being part of Carol's Mother Remembrance Celebration. It was lovely to bring a special dish and pictures that reminded us of our mothers and to share those among the group. Carol did an excellent job of guiding us throughout the discussion and giving us a chance to share our individual stories. I felt like my mom was truly "honored" throughout the celebration in a way that was unique and memorable. The conversations also opened up a dialogue about what our moms went through living in their generation and the sacrifices they made. Although we came to the gathering with our own stories it felt like we had a collective bond at the end. Carol exceeded my expectations and excels at her role. I would participate in another celebration of hers without hesitation!"

"Losing Dawson – my lovely old cat - was more difficult than I was prepared for. We had been together for about 14 years. It seemed like she would always be there – until she
wasn’t. I felt I wanted to give her a proper send off, but I didn’t really know how .
The tribute was beautiful. The mood – the reading – the inclusion of the others in attendance made this one of the most touching "memorials" I have attended. It was honest and relaxed . Anyone can read from a book and try to create an atmosphere, Carol invests her spirit and her passion. It was tough to say good-bye to Dawson. Carol allowed me to say good-bye with grace and dignity."
